When I made the switch from writing for small local newspapers and websites to writing, editing, and proofreading documents and website content for businesses as a freelance content writer, I had no clue of what to do to get my freelance business up and running. With so many free photo editing and graphic design apps out there it can be difficult to find out which ones provide the best quality images. I’ve downloaded what seems like dozens only to uninstall them from my computer, tablet, and phone because they produced poor quality images that looked horrible on my blog and social media accounts. I had no idea where to get high-quality images when I first started blogging back in 2013. Like many others, I was under the impression that I could use the photos I found through Google Image searches. Since they were online, I thought they were in the public domain and free to use. Boy, was I wrong.
