Send Professional Looking Emails and Newsletters for Free

Keeping in touch with former and current clients or customers and all the members of your tribe can be very rewarding, but it can also be tedious and time-consuming. Thanks to changes in Facebook and other social media platforms what you post about your business or services may only be seen by a few of the people who matter most to your business. Reaching out by email is the next best way to make sure people stay in the loop about what you have to offer and remain connected to your brand.

But what do you do when you have a small budget or no budget at all for email marketing?

You use MailChimp.

MailChimp is a marketing platform for small businesses. It helps you stay in contact with your clients, customers and anyone else connected to the work you do by email. I like MailChimp because it has a great Forever Free Plan that allows you to send up to 2,000 emails a day and a total of 12,000 emails a month to up to 2,000 of your subscribers.

MailChimp is more than just basic email. With their Forever Free Plan, you can create a variety of sign up forms that you can embed into your website or blog to get subscribers and build your email list. You can also use MailChimp’s email templates to create professional-looking email campaigns that link back to your website or blog or a newsletter that tells others what’s new in your business.

When you use MailChimp, you can schedule your emails for days, weeks or even months in advance. You can even see who opens your email and get other analytics that can help you make better, more effective email campaigns in the future. It’s also relatively easy to use. Email templates have a drag and drop interface that makes adding and removing elements and customizing emails super easy.
